Great to meet you!

My professional background began in education. My curiosity about my students increased my interest in knowing more about their families. This led me to a career change with a masters in marriage and family therapy. Every person is interesting and I enjoy the journey of discovery with everyone. I recognize that people are incredibly unique and they have freedom of choice in all aspects of lifestyle, personal relationship and family arrangement. I deeply respect each person and their choices.

My approach to therapy

I offer a person-centered, strengths-based approach directed by the needs of the individual. Therapeutic techniques may vary depending upon those needs. Mindfulness practices and cognitive behavioral therapy are frequently offered in therapeutic interactions. What you can expect from me

Typically when a person seeks therapy, there is an intention to change something about themselves relating to their life. Articulating this change is a collaborative process to define therapeutic goals. The therapeutic process, then focuses on those goals in ongoing collaboration with the therapist. As I get to know you, it is my intention to create a warm and welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. I offer tools and resources to support your growth to reach those goals.
