Great to meet you!

My name is Zoe, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for supporting adolescents and young adults. My journey into this field was driven by a deep commitment to helping young people navigate life's challenges, foster resilience, and achieve greater well-being. I've had the privilege of working as a therapist for five years within a private school setting, specializing in supporting middle and high school students. This experience has given me a unique understanding of the specific social, emotional, and developmental hurdles young people face today. I've guided countless students through the complexities of challenging friendships, helped families navigate feuds and communication breakdowns, and provided crucial support in processing and healing from the profound impact of racial trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I primarily focus on the unconcious and early childhood experiences to help us understand patterns of behavior and relationship dynamics between you and the world you live in. I work in helping patients understand how their present lives are deeply affected by their past experiences. Using a psychodynamic approach with the occasional cognitive behavioral technique and solution focused drive, I work to provide you with deeper understanding and equip you with practical tools and skills to use in your every day life outside of therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I aim to give you a safe, supportive space to explore your feelings, gain new insights, and feel understood. I let you lead the way to guide us as we work to discover ways to cope, heal, and build a path toward personal growth and change.
