Great to meet you!

Hello, if you're reading this, that means you've taken a brave first step. I'm ready to do the work with you! My name is Zoe Lyon-Goldman and I hold a Master's of Social Work degree. The modalities I use in therapy include CBT, Solution-Focused, trauma-informed care, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Over the course of my work, I’ve supported clients through challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and stress management.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I take a directive and collaborative approach to support meaningful change. This means I’m actively engaged in the process with you—offering guidance, asking thoughtful questions, and introducing tools that help you move toward your goals with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on creating a comfortable and supportive space where you feel safe, heard, and respected. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask gentle, guided questions to better understand your history and current concerns, and together we’ll begin shaping clear goals and a plan for moving forward. By the end of our time, you’ll have a sense of direction and a shared understanding of how we can work together to support your growth and well-being.
