I have more than a decade of experience in psychiatry treating adults and adolescents. I trained at the Cleveland Clinic and completed a four-year specialization after which I moved to California to practice in various different settings.
For patients who have already been in treatment before and know what works for them, I let them take the lead while I assume a supportive role. But for patients who are new to this process or need a fresh set of eyes, I take a more active role in understanding what the person is going through and decide what kind of treatment would be best for them.
Treatment would typically be a combination of medication and psychotherapy.
