I believe therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. While we’ll absolutely take your challenges seriously, I also bring a sense of humor, honesty, and realness into the room. Sometimes a little laughter can make hard things easier to face.

My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I’m here to help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, while also giving you practical tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, depression, and those moments when life suddenly feels off track—what I often call “moments of crises.” These can come from experiences like a breakup, job loss, moving, or any unexpected life shift that leaves you feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Whether what you’re dealing with feels big or small, we’ll work together to make sense of it and move you forward.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative style that includes:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – understanding and changing unhelpful thought patterns
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) – building skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationships
  • Solution-Focused Therapy – identifying what’s already working and building from there

Along the way, I incorporate:

  • Psychoeducation so you understand why you feel the way you do
  • Practical coping strategies you can use immediately
  • Empowerment-focused work to help you regain a sense of control
  • And yes— humor, when it fits, because growth doesn’t have to be miserable
