Great to meet you!

I'm a therapist who believes that showing up for yourself is one of the hardest and bravest things a person can do and I don't take it lightly that you're considering doing it with me. My work centers on women's issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and the relationships and family dynamics that shape so much of how we feel day to day. I meet people where they are, without judgment and without a fixed idea of what your life "should" look like. Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to explain it perfectly or have it all figured out before we start. I'm open-minded by nature, and I'd rather understand your world than try to fit you into a formula.

My approach to therapy

I'm a practical, collaborative therapist who cares about how you feel, and I also care about helping you actually move forward. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based and solution-focused work, and relational approaches, and for couples I often use the Gottman Method. In plainer terms, that means we'll look at the patterns keeping you stuck, build on the strengths you already have, and focus on concrete steps that make a real difference in your everyday life. I lean on your goals to guide our direction, and I'll be honest and direct with you along the way. Therapy with me isn't about talking in circles, it's about understanding what's going on and doing something with that understanding.

I also believe homework bridges the gap from one session to another. You an expect me to help you reach your goals with user-friendly exercises.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other, so there's no pressure to dive into the deepest thing right away. I'll ask some questions to understand what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping to get out of our time together. You're welcome to ask me anything too—about how I work, what to expect, or whether we feel like a good fit. Mostly, I want you to leave that first conversation feeling heard, a little lighter, and clear on where we might go from here. Finding the right therapist matters, and I'll never take it personally if you're still figuring that out.
