Zuleika Prince

My name is Zuleika Prince. I have been in the helping profession over 20 years and have a bachelors degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Social Work. I have been an independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 14 years working with diverse populations in various workplace settings. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families and have experience providing counseling to those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship problems.

I think it's important to consider all the aspects of the client, seeing things from a holistic perspective. Using a strengths-based approach, along with cognitive behavioral therapy and positive psychology, I help clients work through destructive thinking and find useful solutions to help heal their invisible wounds. This process is geared toward helping improve the day to day lives of clients.

The primary goal of the initial stage of therapy is building a trusting relationship with one another. This is a time to share your story as well as all your hopes and desires with me. Clients often find themselves leaving sessions feel less burdened and more confident in their ability to manage their lives. By the end of our time together, clients have learned the necessary skills to communicate and cope better.
