Great to meet you!

Zulma Rodriguez, LCSW-R, CASAC, EMDR-C, C-DBT

My healing journey began in my 20s, after growing up in a dysfunctional family. Through therapy, I committed to understanding myself, rebuilding my self-worth, and creating a more fulfilling life. That personal transformation inspired my passion for helping others navigate their own healing paths.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R), Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), and certified in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Clinical Hypnotherapy. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, codependency, addiction, interpersonal challenges, and unresolved childhood trauma.

My approach is warm, intuitive, and trauma-informed. I listen beyond words to help clients uncover patterns, process emotions, and reconnect with their inner strength. I believe that real change happens when you’re met with compassion, practical tools, and a safe space to explore and grow.

You don’t have to go through this alone—let’s take the next step together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic, holistic, and intuitive. I integrate various therapeutic modalities. I specialize in working with shame and trauma related to addiction, attachment styles, inner child wounds, and codependency. My focus includes both personal and workplace-related challenges in family and relationships.

My approach emphasizes providing insight, coping skills and the necessary support to help clients harness their inner strength for personal growth and fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to develop greater insight and self-awareness, gaining a deeper understanding of their emotions, behaviors, and patterns. They will learn practical coping skills and strategies to regulate emotions and navigate personal and professional relationships more effectively. Through evidence-based approaches such as CBT (to identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts and beliefs), EMDR, DBT, Transpersonal Therapy, and Hypnotherapy, clients will also have the opportunity to process and release unresolved trauma. This process fosters personal empowerment and builds confidence in their ability to create positive, lasting change.

Most importantly, each client will receive a personalized, integrative approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and emotions to support overall well-being. Along with tailored guidance and reinforcement, clients are supported in applying what they learn outside of sessions, leading to long-term growth, healing, and fulfillment.
