I am a graduate of Walden University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Central Florida, and Daytona State College. I hold Ph.D. in Public Health from Walden University (2010), Masters Degree in Nursing from University of Pennsylvania (2014), and Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Central Florida (2004). I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, board certified (ANCC). I am licensed to practice as advanced practice nurse practitioner in Florida, Minnesota, and Oklahoma. My primary practice state is Florida. I have been a practicing Psychiatric NP for 11 years. My experiences include outpatient psychiatry in community mental health, inpatient psychiatry in community hospitals, and addictions treatment in outpatient centers. I currently practice in a private practice. I treat children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. I am originally from the Czech Republic. I have been a Florida resident for 30 years. I have four adult children, three grandchildren, and one furry baby, a 90 pound poodle mix, who is teaching me patience, and who is my source of unconditional love and loyalty.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in the treatment of psychiatric disorders and various mental health and behavioral conditions and issues. I strive to provide a non judgmental and culturally sensitive environment for my clients. I focus on emotional wellness, resilience, and on overall improvement in quality of life. I regard the therapeutic relationship as the most important factor in mental health treatment, and I am committed to each and every one of my clients to guide and support them in their life journey.
