As a therapist, I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported in their unique journey. I approach therapy with a genuine commitment to creating a safe, affirming, and collaborative space where you can explore challenges, build on your strengths, and grow into your most authentic self.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transitions, stress, anxiety, and trauma, with a particular focus on athletes, high-achieving professionals, and those managing chronic health conditions like sickle cell disease and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). As a former athlete and a clinical social worker with extensive experience in sport social work, I understand the unique pressures and mental health needs faced by athletes—on and off the field.
In therapy, I use a blend of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness practices, and strengths-based interventions. My work is deeply rooted in cultural humility, social justice, and a belief in the power of resilience.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m the founder of Mindz Matter, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of underserved youth athletes, and I actively advocate for mental health equity in sports and beyond.
I believe therapy is a partnership, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your path to healing and self-discovery.
