As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 14 years, I have found that every person possesses the ability to change. I graduated with my masters degree from Loyola University Chicago where I specialized in working with older adults. I have since expanded my expertise to include all ages of adults who are experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, or difficult life changes.
As a provider with 40+ years of sobriety, I offer real solutions for substance abuse problems. What makes my practice unique is my personal and professional background in disabilities that goes decades in Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, hearing and vision impairments, severe mental illness (psychosis) and cerebral palsy. In addition, I have completed Certificates In Jungian Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with adolescents and Young Adults, TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and Compassionate Bereavement Care. My education includes a M.S. in Special Education at Johns Hopkins, post-graduate certificate in Behaviors in Autism from University of Massachusetts Lowell, a MSW from Western New Mexico University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Southern California. In addition, I serve all ages.

I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Illinois and Alabama with over 17 years of experience working as a social worker/therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, addiction, co-dependency, interventions and family dynamic issues. I also have experience working with individuals going through various medical diagnosis as well their caregivers from diagnosis to end of life and grief and loss therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults. My therapy style is warm and interactive. Specialize in trauma work as well.
