Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Abbie. I'm a licensed clinical social worker passionate about supporting young, self-identified women as they navigate the unique challenges of early adulthood. If you're struggling with anxiety, social nuances, or romantic relationships - you're not alone! Therapy with me is affirming, safe, and exploratory. As a gender-affirming therapist, I welcome and support clients across the spectrum of gender identity and expression, and I recognize the complex ways identity can intersect with mental health. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and self-compassion practices. Together, we'll work to help you build confidence, manage anxiety, navigate social dynamics, and discover/reconnect with your values.

My approach to therapy

Drawing from evidence-based practices, I'll tailor our work to fit your needs and goals. We'll discuss the nuances of my approach and explore what feels like it makes sense for you and your needs. My goal as your therapist is to center your humanity while providing a safe place to challenge you and move you closer toward your goals. We'll explore the "yes/ands" of life and uncover possibility while moving at your pace.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your everyday life. We will work on greater self-awareness, developing tools to manage your anxiety and stress, attaining greater clarity and confidence in relationships, and build self-trust and self-compassion through emotional support.
