Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful change. For the past 8 years, I have specialized in providing therapy through telehealth, allowing me to connect with clients in a comfortable and accessible way. I am licensed in both California and Oklahoma.

Throughout my career, I have trained in multiple evidence-based and holistic treatment modalities, allowing me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in trauma therapy and have extensive experience working with adults, couples, and members of the military community.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, kind, open-minded, and holistic. I believe meaningful healing involves considering the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I strive to create a space where you can be honest, feel safe, and explore the experiences that have shaped you without fear of judgment.

I know that therapy can be difficult work. The topics we discuss are often serious, personal, and sometimes painful. At the same time, I believe therapy should leave you feeling empowered, engaged, and valued. And while healing is serious work, there is always room for a little humor along the way.

I genuinely love what I do and feel honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. Whether you are working through trauma, navigating relationship challenges, adjusting to life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you are unsure what to expect. Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship.

We will talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You are welcome to share at your own pace—there is no expectation that you need to tell your entire life story in one session.

I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, history, strengths, and goals, while also giving you space to ask questions about me and my approach to therapy. My style is direct, compassionate, and open-minded, so you can expect honesty, encouragement, and a judgment-free space.

Therapy can involve serious and difficult topics, but it does not have to feel cold or clinical. My goal is for you to feel heard, valued, engaged, and empowered from the very beginning. And when appropriate, a little humor can help make even the heaviest conversations feel more manageable.

Most importantly, the first session is about determining whether we are a good fit and beginning to create a plan that supports your unique needs—mind, body, and spirit. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. Just showing up is a meaningful first step.
