Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. With a background in both primary care and mental health, I specialize in treating a wide range of physical and psychiatric conditions across the lifespan.

I earned my advanced nursing degrees from Walden University and my undergraduate degree at Howard University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, holistic health, and integrative treatment planning. My approach focuses on building trusting relationships, actively listening to everyone’s concerns, and collaborating to create personalized treatment goals.

Whether you’re navigating chronic health conditions, struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorder, and other psychiatric disorders, or seeking support for stress or trauma, I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where your voice is heard. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and am dedicated to helping you find balance, resilience, and improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and holistic. I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust and mutual respect. I work alongside clients to understand their unique experiences, values, and goals, and tailor treatment plans that integrate both physical and mental health care.

As both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I’m equipped to treat the whole person—addressing medical concerns alongside psychiatric conditions. I often blend medication management with psychoeducation and supportive therapy, and when appropriate, incorporate lifestyle, stress-reduction, and trauma-informed strategies.

My style is warm, patient-centered, and nonjudgmental. Whether you're navigating chronic illness, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I aim to provide care that empowers you to feel better and take ownership of your well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, respectful, and collaborative environment where they feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in their care. My goal is to help each client gain greater insight into their physical and mental health, develop practical tools to manage symptoms, and feel confident in their treatment plan. Together, we’ll work toward measurable improvements in mood, functioning, and quality of life.

I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore challenges without judgment. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, chronic illness, or navigating life stressors, clients leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves and a clear path forward. Over time, clients often report feeling more in control, more hopeful, and better equipped to manage both daily life and long-term goals.
