Great to meet you!

Welcome

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that believes everyone has the capacity to grow and heal when provided with adequate supports and the ability to connect with others. My practice is about fostering a place for connection where trust, courage and transformation can happen. I welcome all parts of you into this space and will work with you to cultivate connection and healing with these aspects of yourself. I have curiosity for working with people from all backgrounds and presenting issues. If you feel aligned or curious yourself please reach out.

I received my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of New England along with a certificate in Applied Arts and Social Justice. My practice draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities with a focus on Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic awareness, and mindfulness and motivational enhancement techniques. I have over 10 years of in valuable experience working with youth, families and groups from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. My experience as a group facilitator, supervisor and therapist comes from my work with Intensive Out-Patient groups for both youth and adults, Circle facilitation(Restorative Justice), Dialogue work across international conflicts, Creative facilitation, mentoring and youth work. I enjoy working with a diversity of teens and adults from all walks of life and experiences. Please know that currently I am only seeing people on Wednesdays and that I will be moving to in person options in the coming month.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational and client driven with an awareness of the ecosystems that affect each individual’s own path to healing and recovery. I practice with a trauma sensitive, culturally humble, and strength based approach. Relational cultural, feminist and humanistic theory inform my approach. We will work together to identify modalities, direction and progress.

What you can expect from me

I offer a 15 minute free consultation call so that we can make sure schedules, styles and my experience matches what you are looking for. In our first session we will set treatment goals, gather historical information and get to know each other. We may begin to identify what parts of yourself you want to work with, what changes you want to make and/or what is working already.
