Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual psychotherapist (English/Español) with extensive experience supporting individuals living with bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and am credentialed as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland and in Florida. In addition to my private practice, I work full-time as a Psychiatric Therapist at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where I’ve spent years helping people manage mood disorders and find greater stability.

Living with bipolar disorder can feel like riding an unpredictable roller-coaster. Many of the clients I work with want to better understand their symptoms, spot early warning signs, and create daily routines that steady the mind and body. Others are navigating depression, anxiety, or the toll that mood changes can take on careers, caregiving roles, and relationships. If you’re ready to turn insight into action, sleep better, fuel your body, and nurture healthier connections, I’m here to guide you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and holistic. I believe that lasting emotional health starts with balance, sleep, nutrition, emotional processing, and supportive relationships all matter. I provide a collaborative, safe space where you can understand your diagnosis, identify triggers, and build coping strategies to manage both depressive and manic episodes.

I blend evidence-based techniques like CBT and psychoeducation with tools specific to bipolar care, including Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT). I also help you build supportive habits and work closely with your medical providers, if needed, to coordinate care. Whether you’re working through mood instability, anxiety, grief, or major life transitions, therapy with me is a space to make practical and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

My practice is fully remote. In our first session, we’ll explore your story, clarify your goals, and see whether we’re a good fit. From there, we’ll co-create a personalized care plan that may include improving sleep, reworking daily structure, supporting your relationships, managing mood shifts, or connecting with prescribers.

Hope begins with one conversation. Together we’ll craft a plan to soften highs and lows, build emotional resilience, and restore balance. If that resonates with you, I invite you to reach out and begin this journey toward lasting stability.
