Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health therapist who works with adults navigating trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I have experience working with a wide range of clients, including veterans, first responders, individuals in recovery, and adults who feel stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. Many of the people I work with are high functioning on the outside but internally dealing with stress, emotional disconnection, or unresolved experiences that continue to impact their daily lives. My clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I also utilize structured assessments and individualized treatment planning to ensure that treatment is both effective and tailored to each client’s needs. I provide a space where clients can speak openly without feeling judged or reduced to a diagnosis. My role is to help you understand what is driving your current patterns and to work with you in building practical, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and insight oriented. Therapy is not just about talking—it’s about understanding patterns and actively working toward change. In our work together, we focus on identifying what is keeping you stuck and developing the tools needed to move forward. This may include emotional regulation, reducing avoidance behaviors, processing past experiences, improving communication, and strengthening accountability. I balance structured skill-building with deeper emotional work, depending on your needs and goals. Sessions are active and focused, while still allowing space for exploration and reflection.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on gaining a clear understanding of your situation and what you want to improve. Expect a respectful, open conversation where we’ll pinpoint key concerns and patterns, clarify therapy goals, and start mapping out a practical plan for moving forward. Most of my clients leave the first session feeling understood, more clear about their situation, and with a better sense of direction for what comes next.
