Great to meet you!

Welcome to my practice! I'm Adanna Ikwuegbu, PMHNP-BC, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate and personalized care via telehealth and in-person in Maryland and D.C. I’m currently accepting new patients and committed to helping individuals on their path to wellness through accessible, effective treatment. I offer thorough, empathetic assessments to understand the root of your mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach to mental health care is holistic and patient-centered. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. This means taking the time to understand your unique experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we will develop a comprehensive treatment plan that may include therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications tailored specifically to your needs.

What you can expect from me

During our initial consultation, we I’ll discuss your mental health history, current symptoms, and any specific concerns you may have.

Conducting thorough assessments to understand the root causes of your mental health concerns.

Developing evidence-based treatment plans that are both practical and effective.

Providing ongoing support and adjustments to your treatment plan to ensure optimal outcomes.

I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood.
