Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing both medication management and psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. I treat a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, and stress-related concerns. My approach is patient-centered and evidence-based, focusing on understanding each individual’s needs to develop a personalized treatment plan. I integrate medication management with supportive therapy to promote symptom relief, emotional stability, and long-term mental wellness. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where patients feel heard and supported in their care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative and centered on each person’s unique needs. I focus on helping patients achieve steady, lasting improvement by looking at the full picture of what may be affecting their mental health, including emotional, lifestyle, and possible medical factors. I listen closely to my patients and value their insight into how they are feeling and how they respond to treatment. I combine medication management with supportive therapy and adjust care based on what is working best for each individual. When needed, I also help coordinate with primary care providers to make sure all aspects of health are being addressed.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a structured but comfortable evaluation focused on understanding current symptoms, psychiatric history, and any relevant medical background. I take time to clarify what has been most challenging, what has or hasn’t worked in the past, and any factors that may be contributing to symptoms. We also discuss treatment goals and begin outlining an individualized plan, which may include medication options and supportive therapy interventions. I pay close attention to safety, functioning, and overall health to ensure an appropriate and thorough assessment. Clients can expect a thoughtful, collaborative process that lays the foundation for ongoing, targeted treatment.
