Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Adedoyin Adeniji, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and U.S. military veteran with extensive experience in inpatient psychiatry, correctional health, community mental health, and primary care. I specialize in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology, medication management, and the treatment of acute and chronic mental health conditions across the lifespan.

I have extensive experience caring for high-risk, underserved, forensic, and medically complex populations in both institutional and community settings. My background includes crisis stabilization, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, severe mental illness, chronic mental health management, and interdisciplinary care coordination. I am committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care with a strong focus on long-term stability, symptom improvement, and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach combines professionalism, collaboration, and individualized treatment planning tailored to each patient’s goals and overall wellness. I work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support the best possible mental health outcomes.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I will take time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and learn more about your emotional, mental, and physical health history. We will discuss your current symptoms, stressors, past treatment experiences, medical background, lifestyle factors, and personal goals for care. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences openly. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, informed, and actively involved in your care from the very beginning.
