Hi there! My name is Adelia Davis, and I am a licensed clinical social worker who works with children, adolescents, and families, with a focus on anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation. I am passionate about helping clients give voice to their family narratives and shift patterns that no longer serve them, while building practical, evidence-based skills for lasting change.
My work is rooted in compassion and curiosity, and I believe healing happens when young people and caregivers feel heard, understood, and empowered to reshape the stories they hold about themselves and their experiences. I approach clinical work from a relational and narrative foundation. I am rostered in Child Parent Psychotherapy, and I also practice using the following treatment modalities: TF-CBT, ARC, CBT, ACT, DBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Creating safety and building rapport come first. I move at the client's pace to gain an understanding of their history, strengths, areas of growth, goals, hopes, fears, and values. I approach therapy as a collaborative process that is attuned to each client and family’s culture, values, and strengths. Above all, I strive to create a safe, affirming space where growth feels possible and hope can take root.
