Dr. Adolf Malik, DNP, APRN, completed his master’s degree at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, followed by a post-master’s and a doctoral degree in nursing practice at Winston-Salem State University, NC. He also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice at Frontier Nursing University. He is board-certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry; a Family Nurse Practitioner, a DOT Medical Examiner, and a SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Malik, DNP, APRN, works with children, adolescents, parents of all races and genders, and adults who require psychiatric services. He works on a case-by-case basis as a family practitioner with an integrative (psychiatric & medical) approach to providing care for patients, utilizing many different labs, evaluation services, and genetic tests that offer the best psychiatric and medical outcome.

Dr. Malik DNP, APRN, can diagnose, create treatment plans, prescribe medications, and treat many conditions, including anxiety disorders in pediatrics & adults, ADHD in pediatrics & adults, bipolar disorders, psychotherapy/counseling, depression, PTSD, OCD, psychosis, and schizophrenia. With respect, Dr. Malik, DNP, APRN, partners with his patients to form a therapeutic relationship, developing an evidence-based plan of care that promotes the patient’s overall health and values.
