Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Adriana Liburdi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals in community and mental health settings. Much of my work has taken place in high-acuity environments where trauma-informed care is essential, allowing me to develop strong clinical insight that supports my thoughtful, individualized therapeutic approach when working with clients through complex life experiences.

I have extensive experience working with adults who have experienced trauma, including members of the military community, survivors of abuse, and those struggling with grief. I also have extensive knowledge and experience working with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, depression, workplace bullying, health-related concerns, and people navigating postpartum and parenting challenges.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood as we work together to develop practical tools, build resilience, and support meaningful, lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

I am a firm believer that the healing processes starts with a safe and welcoming environment. I use a client-centered and strengths-based approach to help individuals better understand themselves and develop practical strategies for managing challenges. Depending on your needs, I may integrate techniques from evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Mindfulness-based strategies
  • Strengths-based and supportive therapy

My goal is to help you build insight, develop coping tools, and create positive changes that support your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive foundation for our work together. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and free to speak openly without judgment.

During our first meeting, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, any challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I may ask questions about different areas of your life—such as relationships, stressors, or past experiences—to better understand your perspective and needs.

Together, we’ll start identifying goals for therapy and discuss what progress might look like for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for the work we’ll do together.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and the first session is simply the beginning of building a partnership focused on your growth, healing, and overall well-being.
