Great to meet you!

I bring over 20 years of healthcare experience with a focus on comprehensive, whole-person care. I hold a BS from North Carolina State University and a BSN from Western Carolina University, with 12 years of experience in the Neuro-Trauma ICU. I later earned my MSN, served as nursing faculty for four years, and completed my post-master FNP and Doctorate in Nursing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

I subsequently completed post-doctoral training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at East Carolina University. My clinical interests include women’s mood disorders, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I am committed to evidence-based, collaborative, and individualized care.

My approach to therapy

I provide integrative, holistic psychiatric care, addressing the biological, psychological, and social aspects of mental health. I combine evidence-based treatments with lifestyle and wellness strategies, empowering patients to achieve balance, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming and comfortable environment where their concerns are heard without judgment. The session typically involves a thorough assessment of mental, emotional, and physical health, as well as personal goals. I emphasize collaborative teamwork, working together with the client to create an individualized plan that aligns with their needs and values.
