Great to meet you!

Therapy doesn’t have to feel like sitting across from someone who simply nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?” I’m Adrienne, and I bring warmth, honesty, and real conversation into the therapy room. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, relationship and family challenges, low self-esteem, and major life changes. My clients often appreciate that I truly listen, but I’m also willing to gently challenge you when it can help you see something differently. You can come as you are, without having the perfect words or a clear plan for what needs to change.

My approach to therapy

I believe good therapy should help you understand why you keep getting stuck and what you can actually do differently. We’ll look at the patterns, experiences, relationships, and beliefs that may be affecting how you feel and respond today, while also recognizing the strengths that have helped you get this far. I use approaches including CBT, narrative, person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-focused therapy, but I won’t force you into a formula. Our work will be shaped around your personality, your goals, and what feels most useful to you. I want therapy to be a place where you can be honest, gain perspective, and leave with something you can take into your real life.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to come to our first session knowing exactly what you need from therapy. We’ll start with what’s happening in your life right now, what brought you to therapy, and what you’d like to feel or do differently. I’ll ask questions, listen closely, and help us begin putting the pieces together without rushing you into a diagnosis or treatment plan before I understand the bigger picture. By the end, you should have a better sense of who I am, how I work, and whether we’re a good fit. If this sounds like the kind of therapy you’ve been looking for, book a free consultation and let’s see if we’re a good fit.
