Great to meet you!

I’m a relational therapist who believes that real healing happens through connection, trust, and feeling truly safe with the person you’re working with. I aim to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and completely free of judgment where you can show up exactly as you are.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Salisbury University in 2019, and my path to becoming a therapist has included working in a variety of roles that helped shape me as a clinician. I’ve had the privilege of supporting people across many stages of life, from young children to those navigating end of life transitions. These experiences have shaped how I see people and deepened my belief that our life experiences, especially the hard ones, stay with us in different ways over time.

Because of that, I’ve spent time focusing on trauma and how it impacts both the mind and body. I became EMDR certified in 2023 and am also a Certified Grief Professional. I often work with individuals navigating trauma, loss, life transitions, and the emotional weight that can come with all of it.

I see healing as something that doesn’t happen in a straight line. It can come in waves, sometimes gentle and sometimes overwhelming. My role is to walk alongside you through those waves, helping you make sense of your experiences, build resilience, and find steadiness along the way.

I take a collaborative, down to earth approach and meet you where you are, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

I take an eclectic, flexible approach to therapy because I believe there’s no one size fits all when it comes to healing. Each person I work with has their own story, needs, and goals, so I tailor our work together to fit you rather than trying to fit you into a specific method.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, somatic therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Depending on what you’re going through, we might focus on processing past experiences, understanding patterns, building coping skills, or learning how to stay more grounded in the present.

My goal is to meet you where you are and create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered. Therapy with me is collaborative, and we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s bringing you in at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll talk through your current stressors, your goals for therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of the process.

I’ll review important information like confidentiality, limitations to confidentiality, and informed consent. We’ll discuss scheduling, and I’ll offer recommendations for session frequency while honoring your readiness and preferences.

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe enough to begin your healing process.
