Great to meet you!

As a licensed counselor, I thrive on facilitating change in the therapeutic process by assisting individuals with the "balancing effect". I address and focus on authentically integrating the core elements of our being, which is mind, body and spirit. As a natural healer, I love to promote meaningful change that will allow individuals to heal and grow into the best version of themselves. The human condition is complex and self-discovery is the best antidote for change, which is ultimately growth.

My approach to therapy

I have an eclectic approach to therapy. I mainly employ CBT and DBT approaches, psychoanalysis, trauma-informed techniques, self-discovery/empowerment techniques and behavior modification techniques. Thoughts are powerful and they impact feelings and behaviors. Many individuals respond to life via traumatic experiences from childhood presently manifesting into poor coping. My orientation activates meaningful change through the cultivation of self-awareness and modification of healthy behaviors.

What you can expect from me

Clients will become a lot more self-aware, supported, and empowered in sessions. Challenges in life are sometimes perceived incorrectly. A shift in perspective may allow a client to learn that the challenge is simply activating their growth potentials.
