Dr. Afua Addo holds a double board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner and has been conferred her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. The accumulation of knowledge and experiences during internship and practice setting continues to make a difference in the community for the past decade.

My approach to therapy

As a mental health nurse practitioner, I am trained to listen and provide expert outpatient, individualized, and psychological care. In addition to prescribing medication, I focus on individuals and families understanding medication risks and benefits for their mental health needs. Services provided are not limited to Bipolar Listening is the first step to caregiving.
