Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Agnes (Princess) Jackai.

Princess is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)-prepared clinician and highly experienced Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care for individuals across the lifespan (age 8+). Her broad clinical background includes psychiatric, medical-surgical, and emergency room care, giving her a comprehensive and well-rounded understanding of patient health.

Princess’s practice is built on fostering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. She is deeply passionate about promoting mental health awareness and actively works to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use treatment. Her compassionate approach is focused on helping individuals build confidence, improve self-esteem, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

She holds a Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Administration from Capella University. Her educational background also includes credentials as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), reflecting a strong and diverse foundation in healthcare.

Princess’s expertise includes psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and psychotherapy/supportive therapy. She specializes in treating a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, and other chronic mental health conditions.

My approach to therapy

Princess approach emphasizes collaboration and respect for each individual’s autonomy. She works closely with her patients to set personalized goals, using evidence-based treatment methods and thorough education to support informed decision-making. She believes in building trusting, honest relationships where patients feel empowered and never pressured into treatment decisions, helping them move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect their first session with me to be welcoming, respectful, and centered entirely on understanding their unique experiences and needs. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly at your own pace.

During our initial session, we will focus on getting to know you as a whole person-not just your symptoms. This includes discussing your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and any goals you hope to achieve through care. I also take time to understand your strengths, support systems, and any challenges you may be facing.

A key part of the first session is collaboration. Together, we will begin to identify clear, realistic goals tailored to your needs. These may include improving mood, reducing anxiety, enhancing focus, stabilizing mood symptoms, strengthening coping skills, or re-engaging in your overall health and daily functioning.

If appropriate, I will provide an initial assessment, discuss possible diagnoses, and review treatment options, which may include therapy, lifestyle strategies, and/or medication management. I prioritize patient education, so you can expect clear explanations and the opportunity to ask questions at any time.

Most importantly, you can expect to be treated with compassion, respect, and honesty. My goal is to ensure you leave the session feeling heard, supported, and empowered-with a clearer understanding of the next steps in your care.
