Great to meet you!

I have worked as a therapist in several U.S. states including New York, Michigan, California, and now in the Washington DC Metro Area. I view my work with clients as fighting together for freedom from oppressive situations and narratives. I advocate for social justice, peace, healthy living, and believe in adding fun and humor to life.

My approach to therapy

My foundational approach is Narrative Therapy, which views the person as separate from their problem. I help clients find their strengths from their experiences and apply them to solve issues and reach their goals. I listen to their stories to understand how their problems have impacted their self-view and relationships. I also use grief recovery, mindfulness, self-compassion, and somatic practices.

What you can expect from me

Clients are taught to work with their nervous system to maintain regulation. This helps them understand, manage, and recover from challenging emotions, relationships, and situations. It allows them to stretch their limits without stress and improve their lives rather than merely getting by.
