Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated mental health professional committed to providing a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free space for clients. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families, and my approach is client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. I focus on helping clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence while supporting their overall mental wellness.

My professional background includes training in evidence-based therapeutic interventions, behavioral support, and emotional regulation strategies. I work collaboratively with clients and caregivers to create individualized goals that promote growth, resilience, and long-term success. I am passionate about empowering clients to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I work to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their experiences. Therapy is tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

I use evidence-based practices and a strengths-based approach to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthy relationships. When working with children and adolescents, I incorporate age-appropriate strategies such as play-based activities, creative expression, and skill-building exercises. I also value collaboration with caregivers and other supports to ensure consistency and meaningful progress across environments.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment. This session focuses on getting to know the client, understanding their concerns, strengths, and goals, and building comfort and trust. I take time to explain the therapy process, answer questions, and discuss what clients hope to gain from therapy.

Together, we begin identifying initial goals and next steps, while ensuring the pace feels comfortable and collaborative. For children and families, the first session may include caregiver input and age-appropriate activities to help the child feel at ease. The goal of the first session is to create a strong foundation for a positive therapeutic relationship and a clear plan moving forward.
