Great to meet you!

I work with adults who have spent much of their lives putting others first, often at the expense of their own needs. Many of my clients identify as people-pleasers, helpers, or peacekeepers who feel stuck in patterns of over-responsibility, anxiety, low mood, or complicated grief. Even when life looks “fine” on the outside, they may feel disconnected, burned out, or unsure of how to prioritize themselves without guilt.

This work is personal for me. When I lost my mother at 13, I learned to survive by staying strong, keeping it together, and minimizing my own pain. Over time, I came to understand that people-pleasing was not my personality, but a protective strategy that once served me and later began to cost me. My own healing helped me reconnect with myself in a deeper, more authentic way, and it informs how I show up for my clients today.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and insight-oriented. I help clients understand how long-standing patterns developed, how they continue to show up in the present, and how to begin making changes that feel both meaningful and sustainable. Therapy with me focuses on increasing self-awareness, building healthier boundaries, and learning how to respond to life from a place of intention rather than obligation.

I work at a pace that feels safe and supportive, while also gently encouraging growth. I believe therapy should feel grounding and practical, not overwhelming or rushed. Together, we work to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your choices, and better equipped to navigate relationships and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space for you to be heard and understood. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to change, and what hasn’t worked in the past. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan, that's where I come in!

My goal in the first session is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and grounded. We’ll begin building a shared understanding of your experiences and discuss what working together might look like moving forward. Therapy doesn’t require you to have everything figured out, just the willingness you have already demonstrated by reading this.
