Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Alanna Brewton, MS, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Heart Math Instructor, Registered Yoga Teacher and currently working on my PhD in Pscychology. Uncertain if you have an issue with alcohol or drugs? In recovery and want to stay on that journey? I take a holistic approach when working with clients combining the mind, body, and spirit in counseling. I’ve been working in the field of addiction for over 20 years now. I specialize in addiction and trauma. .

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a safe space where you don’t feel judged. Since I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher and have studied meditation and breath work for years, I’m able to incorporate these techniques in your session. I’m trained in EMDR and specialize in trauma. My practice specializes in CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness and taking a Person-Centered Approach. My passion is in educating people on substance use disorders and teaching various coping mechanisms to help create a life of peace moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard and not judged when leaving each and every session. I will arm you with various coping mechanisms, stress management techniques, and breathing exercises to help prevent relapse.
