Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am based in Key West, Florida, and I serve clients in Oregon via telehealth. I work with adults, couples, and families, specializing in anxiety, depression, stress, relational dynamics, co-occurring disorders, and trauma.

I decided to become a therapist after working as an Early Childhood Educator. Through that experience, I learned how important those early years are and how certain experiences can imprint in different areas in our adult lives. I naturally developed the ability to hold space from a non-judgmental lens from an early age. Witnessing people rewrite their stories and develop a deeper understanding of themselves is what continues to drive me to do this work.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative approach with each client/couple when assessing needs and defining goals. My approach is trauma informed and tailored to the needs of each client. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family systems as these modalities provide me with opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of my client’s life experience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will work towards building trust and exploring what you hope out of our time together. Building trust with my clients is my first priority; I want to know what brought you in, where you hope to go, and in what ways I can be most helpful through the process. The first session is for me to listen, create a safe space, and develop an understanding of your needs and hopes.
