Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward mental health care can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 12 years of healthcare experience across psychiatric and medical settings. I specialize in medication management and support teens, young women, people from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, and individuals navigating substance use challenges. My goal is to create a compassionate, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward better mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I bring humor, humility, and transparency to create a safe, judgment-free space where you feel seen and heard. Together, we’ll explore medication management, lifestyle changes, and practical coping skills tailored to your needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll discuss your mental, physical, emotional, and social history, along with the concerns that have brought you to therapy and the goals you hope to achieve. This initial assessment helps me gain a better understanding of your unique experiences, strengths, and needs so we can develop an approach to treatment that feels right for you. You’ll have space to ask questions, share at your own pace, and begin this journey in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.
