Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Albert Dzati, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I help people of all ages — kids, teens, adults, and seniors — find real support, real understanding, and real progress with their mental health.

I treat a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, sleep issues, and substance use. No matter what you’re dealing with, I want you to feel comfortable opening up and knowing that you’re not facing it alone.

My approach to therapy

I began my journey in nursing at Bowie State University, and later earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University. Over the years, I’ve worked in many settings, including hospitals, community clinics, and programs that serve people who are often overlooked. This includes working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people experiencing homelessness, and underserved families in communities across Prince George’s County and the DC area.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to make care accessible, respectful, and judgment-free, especially for people who haven’t always felt heard in the healthcare system.

My approach is simple: we work as a team. I take time to listen to your story, learn what’s going on in your life, and build a plan that fits you as a whole person. If medication is helpful, I’ll explain your options clearly. If you need more support between visits, I stay responsive and make it easy to reach out.

Most of all, I want you to feel safe, understood, and hopeful. You deserve care that meets you where you are — and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
