My journey began at James Madison University, where I honed the fundamentals of nursing, and it reached new heights with a graduate degree from George Washington University.

I’m dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals for emotional wellness with individualized treatment in a supportive environment.

I am a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner in Florida assisting patients with medication management, psychiatric care, and talk therapy. I have years of experience working with a wide range of patients of different backgrounds and diagnoses. I am passionate in addressing mental health issues for women including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorder, depression and working with the LGBTQ+ community.

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience working in behavioral health. While I am trained to treat all psychiatric conditions, my clinical interests include working with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, and ADHD. I have provided care and treatment to adults, adolescents, veterans, active-duty military and their spouses, and geriatrics.

I am Dr. Mensah, a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the University of South Alabama. My clinical experience is diverse; spanning across corrections, inpatient, outpatient, and some LTC. I treat all the most common mental health diagnoses. Outside of work, I love reading, listening to music, and cooking.
