Great to meet you!

Hi.!! My name is Chioma Snowbird Iroegbu. I go by "CHI." I am a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in multiple states. I believe healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic — blending evidence-based psychiatric care with genuine compassion. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, insomnia, and substance use.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health from Shenandoah University and have years of experience in behavioral health, quality improvement, and clinical leadership.

Clients often describe me as approachable, encouraging, and practical. I balance empathy with structure — offering not just listening, but also clear strategies, skills, and insights that you can apply to your daily life. My background in both mental health nursing and advanced psychiatric practice allows me to integrate medical knowledge with therapeutic techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

Outside of my professional role, I’m passionate about community outreach, health education, and empowering women — efforts I carry forward through the Kairos Embrace Foundation and speaking engagements. These experiences keep me grounded, reminding me daily why I chose this field: to inspire hope, transform lives, and walk with people through some of their most difficult seasons.

If you’re seeking a provider who will listen deeply, collaborate with you, and equip you with practical tools for change, I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe each person’s story is unique, so I take time to listen and understand the whole picture — not just symptoms or diagnoses. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with therapy, lifestyle support, and cultural sensitivity to create a plan that fits your needs.

I see our work as a partnership: you bring your experiences and goals, and I bring clinical expertise and practical strategies. Together, we identify the root causes of distress, build on your strengths, and develop tools that support healing and resilience. Above all, I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, respected, and empowered on your journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools they can apply right away. Together, we’ll uncover the root of your challenges and build strategies that foster resilience, balance, and growth. My goal is for you to gain not only symptom relief, but also a deeper understanding of yourself, greater confidence in your coping skills, and hope for lasting change.
