Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Nkem Uradu, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am board-certified to provide psychiatric care for both children and adults, and I especially love working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for clients navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep concerns, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. Outside of work, I’m a big people person who loves to travel, meet new people, and volunteer, and I truly believe in treating others the way I would like to be treated.

My approach to therapy

I believe treatment works best when it is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you. Together, we’ll explore what you’re experiencing, identify challenges and underlying triggers, and develop practical coping strategies that fit your life. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood.

What you can expect from me

During our first sessions, we’ll take time to talk about your concerns, goals, history, and what you hope to get from treatment. I’ll listen closely, answer your questions, and work with you to create an individualized plan that may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. You can expect to feel supported, respected, and empowered as we take the first steps toward meaningful progress together.
