Great to meet you!

Finding the right psychiatric provider for a child or adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities, or complex behavioral conditions, can feel nearly impossible. Most providers simply aren't trained for it. I am. I'm Bridget Ntungwen, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing student at Walden University, with over 7 years of experience across Washington DC's most demanding clinical settings, The Hospital for Sick Children, St. Elizabeth Hospital's adolescent unit, and the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program. This work found me before I ever chose nursing, and I have never looked back.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in behavioral health care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex behavioral conditions, alongside anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, and OCD. My approach combines medication management, family therapy, and CBT in a collaborative, compassionate space.

What you can expect from me

As a preceptor training the next generation of psychiatric nurse practitioners, I hold the bar high for the care I deliver. Whether you need in-person or virtual support, I'm here. If you've struggled to find a provider who truly understands, you've found one. Reach out today.
