Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel overly formal or clinical. My style is warm, direct, and often sprinkled with humor. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself while also knowing I’ll challenge you when needed. I work with adults navigating life transitions, relationship changes, anxiety, depression, stress, and those moments when life simply doesn’t look the way you expected it to. My approach is collaborative and practical—we’ll make space for what you’re feeling while also figuring out what comes next. I’m also bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and collaborative, with humor when it fits. I have experience working with individuals navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment, and major life transitions. A population I especially enjoy working with is the “eldest daughter”—the one who is used to being responsible, holding everything together, and taking care of everyone else—with a sprinkle of navigating immigrant family dynamics and expectations.

Life transitions can be exciting, but they can also bring grief, uncertainty, or the feeling that you’ve lost your footing. This might look like starting a new relationship, ending an old one, changes within your family, starting or finishing school, career changes, or simply adjusting to a new season of life. Together, we’ll make space to process what you’ve experienced, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and help you feel more confident moving forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know each other and making sure therapy feels like a good fit. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been going on, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, without the pressure of having everything figured out on day one. I always encourage clients to “shop around” for their therapist—you don’t have to settle if the vibe isn’t there! You’re also welcome to schedule a brief consultation call with me beforehand. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can show up as yourself, ask questions, and decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
