Great to meet you!

I’ve been a psychiatric nurse for 17 years, and in that time, I’ve walked alongside countless people through some of life’s most difficult moments. I’ve learned that every person’s experience is completely their own. My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in real-world experience: I meet clients where they are, listen first, and help you figure out what truly works for you, not just what’s on a chart. Mental health care can feel intimidating or impersonal, but my goal is to make it human, relatable, and ultimately empowering.

My approach to therapy

I see mental health care as a partnership—you and I working together as a team. I start by really listening to you, understanding your experience, and then we explore what’s going to help most. I take a holistic approach, looking at all aspects of your well-being, not just medications—though if medicine is part of the plan, we’ll figure out what works best for you. Every step of the way, we’ll weigh options together and find a path that fits your life, your goals, and what feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what you need. I’ll listen to your story, hear your concerns, and together we’ll start to figure out how I can best support you. By the end of our time, we’ll have a clear idea of next steps and a plan that fits your life, so you leave feeling heard, understood, and ready to move forward.
