Hi, my name is Alexa Burley and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in medication management and psychotherapeutic interventions for my clients. I have several years of practice in acute inpatient settings, intensive outpatient care, and private practice. I spent many years in psychiatric emergency services before furthering my education to become a provider.
I focus on the complete treatment of my clients, meaning both medication management and therapeutic care. My intention is to provide clients with education about their concerns and to work with them to develop a reasonable plan to live their lives. I am able to manage both severe and chronic patients as well as concerns arising in the course of life.
I work with clients to develop a reasonable plan to implement and get back to life. Expect to have an open honest conversation with me in a non-judgemental atmosphere so we can both work together to get to the root of the issue. I may not prescribe medications to everyone, but if medications are used they will be appropriate for you. Treatment plans are individualized based on our conversations and participation with me, so I need clients who want to feel better and get back to enjoying life.
