Great to meet you!

I am a therapist trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is an approach that is grounded in evidence-based principles for change, and a non-judgmental, curious stance. I'm passionate about helping my clients gain control of their emotions, thoughts, urges, and behaviors. I also appreciate the importance of sharing the science behind why we get stuck and how we can change, while listening and understanding the wisdom of my clients' own personal experience.

My approach to therapy

I believe in approaching our work together in a collaborative way. I also believe that our behaviors are caused and understandable. Together, we will get curious about why your struggles make sense and what will help you reach your goals and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll hear what brings you to therapy, what you want support with, and what has worked or not worked in the past to bring about change. You can expect to learn about the structure of ongoing therapy and a framework to approach reaching your goals.
