Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I have experience working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and stress related to work, relationships, and major life events.

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood, while also helping them build practical coping skills they can use in their everyday lives. I often draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as techniques focused on emotional regulation, stress management, and trauma-informed care.

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I strive to meet each client where they are. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just looking to better understand yourself, my goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a space where they feel comfortable, heard, and understood. I work to build a strong therapeutic relationship while also helping clients develop practical tools they can use in their daily lives.

I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with techniques focused on emotional regulation, stress management, and trauma-informed care. I help clients identify patterns in their thoughts and behaviors, build insight, and learn effective coping strategies to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors.

I also tailor my approach to each individual, recognizing that no two clients are the same. Some clients benefit from skill-building and structure, while others need more space to process and explore their experiences. My goal is to help clients feel more in control, improve their overall functioning, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding your current challenges, goals, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I’ll ask about your background, experiences, and any specific stressors or symptoms you’re dealing with.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about therapy and how we’ll work together. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe sharing your experiences. By the end of the first session, we typically identify immediate concerns, set initial goals, and outline practical strategies to help you start feeling more in control and supported in your daily life.
