Great to meet you!

Combat veteran, former first responder and hospital chaplain, trauma specialist serving healthcare workers, first responders, veterans, and adults struggling with trauma, grief, loss, spirituality, and life transitions

My approach to therapy

I use neuroscience-informed, trauma-focused, and solution/goal-focused interventions, including memory reconsolidation to resolve—not just manage—symptoms. My approach combines evidence-based treatment with an understanding of how trauma affects the nervous system and emotion regulation. I work with independent adults (26 older) experiencing trauma, grief, loss, and life transitions (e.g. career, divorce, geographical), with a specialized focus on healthcare workers, first responders, and veterans.

What you can expect from me

I am upfront and direct. In our first session, we'll discuss what's bringing you in and whether my approach is right for your situation. I work with people ready to do uncomfortable work for a specific purpose—this isn't comfort-focused therapy. If I'm not the right fit or can't help with your issue, I'll be honest about it and help you find someone who can
