Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Alexis, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over six years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I received my education from Rutgers University, where I specialized in children and family therapy.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is a collaborative and supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges. My approach is compassionate, individualized, and focused on helping clients build practical skills and recognize their strengths. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and meeting them where they are in their journey toward growth and positive change.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where we begin getting to know one another. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through the therapeutic process.

Together, we will identify initial goals and develop a plan that feels realistic and meaningful to you. By the end of the first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable moving forward with therapy. We may also begin identifying practical strategies or tools that can help you manage current challenges and take the first steps toward positive change.
