Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Alexis, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Thanatologist with specialized training in grief, trauma, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

I have more than a decade of experience in healthcare, end-of-life care, and emergency services. I support individuals navigating grief and loss, trauma, terminal illness, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I am especially passionate about serving first responders, healthcare and death-care professionals, rural communities, and their families.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, grief therapy, and practical coping and emotional-regulation strategies. I believe meaningful therapy begins with a strong relationship grounded in trust, safety, honesty, and respectful boundaries. Together, we will make space for what you have carried while working toward the changes that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether working together feels like a good fit. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, your personal history, and what you hope will be different. You will not be expected to share more than you feel ready to discuss. My goal is to create a welcoming, respectful space where you feel heard and leave with a clearer sense of what our work together could look like.
