Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming at times, and you don't have to navigate it alone. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. Taking the first step can be difficult, so I'm glad you're here.

I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW-C) with experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy to adolescents and adults. I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and self-esteem. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered care, meaning I meet you where you are without judgment and tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood.

My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, yet direct when necessary. I believe growth often comes from honest conversations, but those conversations should always happen within a supportive and trusting relationship. I also enjoy incorporating humor when it's appropriate because healing doesn't always have to be heavy.

As a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) clinician, I frequently integrate DBT skills into my work to help clients strengthen emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Above all, I believe therapy should be a partnership, and I'm here to support and empower you as you work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but who you are as a person. We'll talk about what's been going on in your life, what you hope to gain from therapy, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and achievable to you.

I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. You can expect me to listen with compassion, ask thoughtful questions, and work collaboratively with you to develop a plan that fits your unique needs. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we'll do together.
