Great to meet you!

I’m a relational, trauma-informed therapist who works primarily with young adults navigating attachment wounds, anxiety, and the lasting impact of complicated relationships with their mothers. Many of my clients are insightful and capable, yet feel chronically dysregulated, self-critical, or unsure of themselves in relationships.

I’m easy to talk to, present, and direct in a caring way. Therapy with me is not an interrogation — I won’t respond to your questions with more questions or rush you toward solutions. I believe healing happens in a shame-free, attuned relationship where your nervous system feels safe enough to soften.

My approach to therapy

I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and earned my degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation. I’m trained in EMDR and continue to deepen my work with complex and developmental trauma.

In addition to my private practice, I co-run a nonprofit that provides inclusive, supportive experiences for children with disabilities and their families, including a LEGO-based social club for autistic children. This work reflects my belief that healing, regulation, and connection often happen through creativity, play, and safe relationships — not just through words.

My clinical focus includes complex trauma, attachment wounds (“mama trauma”), grief, anxiety, and helping clients build trust in themselves and their emotional responses.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting grounded, oriented, and comfortable. We’ll go over the intake information, but we’ll also slow things down — checking in with how your nervous system is doing and what feels most important for you to share.

You don’t need to tell your whole story right away or know exactly what you want to work on. My goal in the first session(s) is for you to leave feeling understood, respected, and clearer about whether I’m the right fit for you. We move at your pace, with care and collaboration.
